UK Politics
The United Kingdom, like any other democratic country, has a number of groups who have their own way of thinking as to how to run the country and the way policies should be made to serve the people of the county and the country itself. These groups are what the political parties are and the individuals leading the parties are the leaders of the party and are the policy makers and called politicians.
It seems that the politicians in the UK can be broadly divided into two categories. Firstly, those politicians who listen to the people, learn their opinion and make their policies to suit in order to ensure that the voter’s desire is given due importance so that they understand that their leaders listen to them and act in a best way to get the best outcome.
The second group of politicians are those who think that they understand the way the country should be and come out with such policies that people do not like, but these politicians try to convey to the public that they know better what is best for them. They just do not understand that today’s voter is no longer an individual who is ignorant about the happenings in the world and what is best for the people of the country. End of the day when the elections take place, the voters show their strength and choose those of their own choice.
While the outcome of any election is the opinion of the majority, some good politicians lose their chance to serve the people because of the wrong decisions and policies of their leaders. The next write up will elaborate on all connected points leading to the success or failure of a particular political party.
